Acer monitors ship with the capability to connect to newer computers using today’s more popular connectivity options, e.g. VGA, DVI and HDMI.
Most Apple computers come with a DVI or HDMI video ports, or with an adapter solution included or provided separately to connect to most displays on the market today. In the case of PC’s, Acer monitors work on the “Plug-and-Play” principle, meaning that aside from physically connecting the monitor to both a power source and the computer, no other steps are necessary to have the monitor function as it should with the PC. With Apple computers, it should work this way as well, as long as the Apple computer has the corresponding video ports as the monitor, or an adapter solution to do the same.
This cannot be guaranteed however, since our monitors are tested in a PC environment. It is possible that extra hardware such as an adapter, any number of settings adjustments or extra software in the way of a software update for the Apple computer may be needed to have our monitors function correctly.
