I run Linux but the process is virtually the same. Open PoM, click the install '+'button.
Search up your game and it will take you through the process of installing. Once done go under tools- manage wine versions.
Install both 32bit and 64bit versions of a 2.x wine-staging version. Then once that's done go to 'Configure'-Alien vs Predator 2 environment. Change the wine versions to the one you just downloaded.
Then go to Wine-Configure Wine-Staging-Enable CSMT. Then go to Virtual Desktop- enable Virtual Desktop-set resolution to whatever your preferred screen resolution is. Most games prefer 1920x1080 as a max resolution.

(The Macs go higher depending on the model and CAN cause a break, not always.) Load game and report back. This is the general process I do for ALL my games that need wine. If you already have the environment installed move onto the wine version part and go from there. Staging gives a pretty good boost to most games that are 3d so it's always a good idea to start there when things aren't /working/ Please let me know if this helps and for anyone else who comes to this thread looking for an answer.
