Press Command+Space and type Terminal and press enter/return key. Run in Terminal app: ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL /dev/null and press enter/return key. If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it.
So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish. Run: brew install dfu-util Done!
You can now use dfu-util.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the hobby and super stoked to be a part of it. I recently purchased a Vortex 250 Pro quad along with a Taranis X9D and some Fat Shark Dominator V3 goggles. I also have a Blade Inductrix. Anyway, I'm having trouble getting Cleanflight or Betaflight to work on my MacBook Pro running OSX 10.13.1 High Sierra. If anyone could help me I sure would appreciate it.
Thanx, Jesh High Sierra is the problem. Sierra works OK. My friend is having issues with his as well and iNav. His son is a IT tech that works on Macs and he and a team are trying to resolve the issue for him. I have Sierra 10.12.6 and it is OK.

I have Sierra 10.12.6 and it is OK. If his son can’t get it worked out he could just run a free trial version of Windows inside a vm on your Mac such as virtual box. After the trial expires it will still run for an hour before it restarts. Plenty of time to tweak Betaflight settings. I too made the mistake of updating to high Sierra. Hope this helps. Simple fix for the time being at least.
