Hi everyone, I'm new to Sibelius and am thinking of getting a keyboard cover to help me learn the keyboard shortcuts. I'm wondering if you have any thoughts on that-whether it's worth getting, and if so, which one I should get. Basically, I'm trying to decide between: 1) KB Covers Sibelius Keyboard Cover for Apple Ultra-Thin Keyboard - $40 2) KB Keyboard for Sibelius (same labels as above, but it's the actual keyboard, not just a cover) - $120 - 3) Not getting anything for the keyboard and just learning through practice I have an iMac with the ultra-thin keyboard with numeric keypad, and I like the feel of that keyboard, so I'm not really considering the Sibelius LogicKeyboard - though it seems the color coding is more helpful on that one. Any replies will be much appreciated! Thanks, Young Posted by - 20 Nov 07:26PM (edited 20 Nov 07:27PM).

For instance, I have simple key combinations assigned to Split Multirest, Create Triplet (that one's very close to the numeric keypad), Add Fermata, Add Marcato Accent, Filter Lyrics.etc. You'll doubtless want a different selection.
I don't know what it will be, but I guarantee it won't be the default set! So a printed overlay won't be a lot of use.
I suggest that as you need/find/define a shortcut you add it to a list pinned conveniently near your computer. You won't need to consult it for long:-) Posted by - 20 Nov 09:35PM. Posted by - 14 Jul 10:10AM. I have a mac tower for my logic work in my studio, but for Sibelius i use a windows pc simply because it has a numeric keypad. How does the cover efficiently replaces the numeric keypad on pc?
Does it make use of the touchbar of the macbook? And if it does, is it as fast as the numeric keypad? I am in a dilemma whether my new pc will be a mac or a pc and the main reason is my dependence on the pc's numeric keypad when I use Sibelius. Really looking forward to your reply. Thanks in advance!
